A JAR OF BONES’, 2022

Medium: Color pencil & gouache on cardboard

Inspired by the “Ten sorry tales” book

The bones in this illustration represent problems, while the coffin and cage represent limitations. I created this illustration based on what has been happening in people’s lives in recent years in my country. Hoping that one day everyone will be able to escape their problems by making a wing. Bones always appear in front of us. What do you do with your bones?

The summary of ‘A JAR OF BONES’ There was a girl who lived in a jar filled with bones. She lived in a world filled with cages and coffins. The girl decided to bury the bones underground in order to get rid of them. When she returned, the bones were still there. The fact was that bones were clinging to her life. So, she made big scissors to break the cages and coffins. Finally, the girl succeeded, she was freed, grew wings, and was able to achieve her greatest wish, which was to fly and see her grandfather in free worlds.
